Glastonbury Festival 2011 - Spirit of 71 stage area - Rottenpunk & Pistol
We were asked to paint at this years Glastonbury festival @ Spirit of 71 stage to celebrate 40 years since first Glastonbury Festival, we chose to paint Andrew Kerr, whos idea the free festival was & Nik Turner (Hawkwind) who played at first festival & is a true icon of the time, we also included some original Barney Bubbles artwork & asked festival goers to add there name & first festival attended which we hoped would help mark the passage of time & the people this idea of Andrews had affected..
